How do you mount an oriental wall fan?

I plan to purchase an oriental wall fan (vis-a-vis hand fan) as part of my Asian themed house decor and would like to get suggestions on how to mount it on my wall. The size is 3 ft (height) and 5 ft (width).

Heres how we’ve done it: Mount a cup hook into the wall to which you attach either the brass ring at the bottom which holds the fan blades together or through the fan blades themselves. Purchase either Museum Wax, poster puddy or mounting puddy, or even a product called CandleStix at the craft store. Place several wads of the mounting puddy on the back side of the fan large enough to support the fan’s weight. The puddy will not stain either the fan nor the wall. A Hint, try to place the puddy in between the folds for a better appearance.
