Why do the Chinese like waterfalls?

Every Chinese food restaraunt and all Oriental decor stores I have seen all have pictures of beautiful waterfalls. Some of them are just posters, others are elaborately make to look like they “flow”, but there are always waterfalls… Why?

because pictures of waterfalls usually show the water going TOWARDS the place where they are posted which for the chinese, means that luck, wealth and prosperity are going TOWARDS them, or their homes, or businesses.
